Wiring Guide for MAP DCCD Controller, and MAP VSSP Wheel Speed adapter

If you are doing an STI 6-Speed Swap into your WRX, Forester XT, or Legacy GT, etc., you will most likely need to add a controller to get the DCCD to function properly.

We have had great luck with the MAP DCCD controller, and it does require a fair amount of wiring to get the full functionality out of the part.

If you are installing a newer STI transmission from 2008 - 2021 into an older car that would usually get the vehicle speed from the transmission, you will also need to install something like a MAP VSSP to convert the Tone Ring signal to vehicle speed.

That requires a lot more wiring, and requires tapping into your ABS system to get those wheel speed signals.

We just finished a project on our 2003 WRX that required both of these to be installed, and we had Jeremy from Corda Corsa help with all the wiring.  He did an amazing job, and we did our best to document all of it to hopefully answer any and all questions that you might need answered if you are doing the same.

If you would like to get your DCCD controller professionally installed, or if you need any other wiring help of any kind, reach out to Jeremy on Instagram at Corda Corsa here.

Another video detailing the STI 6-Speed Swap will be coming out soon so Stay Tuned for that.
