Super GT 2026 Round 2 - Fuji Speedway
For the second round of the 2026 Super GT Season, the teams headed to Fuji Speedway. In the GT300 class, Subaru actually holds the track record which they set back in 2021. This has always been a good track for them and the BRZ, and that came out in qualifying again this year.
Be sure to check out the qualifying for both classes, and all of the content that we have collected here about the race as well.

Subaru Race Highlights and Race Digest
The fact that the BRZ GT300 was able to re-set the track record here at Fuji shows that the car and team are making a lot of progress, and that there is a ton of potential with this new 3.0 Liter Twin Turbo engine.
The flat tire that the experienced in the race caused them to loose positions, and it may have caused some of the damage that resulted in their retiring the car.
Because this race was 3 hours long, endurance and reliability are key ingredients to having a good finish, and it looks like Subaru is making some good steps in this directions. They may have just been unlucky in the race this time out.
Hopefully they will be able to continue to refine the car to finally have a good result at the Checkered Flag at the next race in Sepang at the end of June.
