For our second Subaru Oil Filter Comparison, we take a look at the JDM STI Oil Filter, Cusco Oil Filter, Greddy Oil Filter, and HKS Oil Filter. We break them down and compare their design, filter material, and relief valve spring to the OE filters that we have already tested as well as the Roger Clark Race Oil Filter.

After our first oil filter video, we got a lot of questions about how these high end filters would compare and honestly, we were as curious as you were.

Our findings in this group were actually surprising. There is actually more variance in this group than we expected, and some of those differences that we found pushed us to think about filter design, and what makes a good filter.
