Flatirons Tuning 2025 Pikes Peak Race Run
Weather is always a factor at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. Heat, rain, hail, snow, and fog have come into play many times, but this year presented a new challenge.
Wind
With gusts up to 120 mph at the top of Pikes Peak, the decision was made to run the race at half distance, ending at Glen Cove for all of the competitors.
For the Flatirons Tuning team, we had to work through our own set of issues leading up to, and through race week this year. First and foremost though, our car was ready to run on race day, and our car and driver Scott Crouch were able to put down a time.
We finished 10th in class this year, which is now what we were hoping for, but it is a result none the less. Considering all the challenges that we faced, it means a lot that we were able to get that result in the books.
Here is the full race run of our 2025 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, and we will fill you in with more details about everything that went on for us here soon.
