TiC EJ257 Stage 2+2 Track Shortblock

Our Stage 2 track shortblocks are designed and built as a first step into the world of motorsport with your Subaru. This is the realm of where customization begins as we'll need to know details such as supporting modifications, current plans, future plans, type of racing you'll be doing, and the type of fuel that you will be using.

There are plenty of things that can go wrong at the track, and our goal is to build you a bottom end that will ease your mind when it comes to that portion of your Subaru. Based upon your feedback, and input we will custom tailor clearances to meet your needs to ensure you have a shortblock that will provide trouble free operation to help make your track days a success.

• +2mm H-beam rods with ARP2000 hardware
• JE 99.75mm Subaru Time Attack "FSR" pistons
• Heavy duty tool steel wrist pins
• Dynamically balanced rotating assembly
• ACL main and rod bearings
• Custom ring gaps based upon your input on use of the car
• Custom piston to wall clearance based upon your input on use of the car
• Custom main and rod bearing clearances based upon your input on use of the car
• Rated for 550awhp (case is the limiting factor)

**If using D25 heads you must use a slightly thicker head gasket due to the smaller combustion chamber.  We recommend JE .039" head gaskets.**
