Red Line Synthetic EP grease provides excellent high-temperature, high-speed, and high-load protection.  the excellent water resistance, low-temperature flow, and very high dropping point (melting point) allows it to be used in high-temperature wheel bearings and CV-joints as well as for chassis lubrication and many industrial applications.  The load-carrying capacity of this grease is significantly greater than moly-disulfide greases, making it an excellent grease for racing applications, as well as long-term lubrication for normal automotive use.  The oxidative stability of this lubricant helps retard the hardening of this grease under severe-duty service.  CV-2 can be used in a wide range of applications ranging from -100 deg. F to 500 deg. F and provides good oxidation and corrosion resistance, low evaporation and oil separation, and a minimum effect on rubber seals.  It is always a good practice to clean old grease from wheel bearings and CV-joints to remove abrasive wear particles.
