This particular timing belt kit is one of our best sellers offering a fantastic "Budget" solution, whilst still utilizing all OE hardware as supplied by our OE technical partners in conjunction with the ever popular Mitsuboshi timing belt.
One weak area on the Subaru EJ series engines is Subaru's use of the plastic Bakalite camshaft drive pulleys. Over time, these become brittle and eventually fail causing catastrophic failure and internal engine damage. Included in this kit are the RCM alloy camshaft pulleys which are manufactured in aluminium giving you total peace of mind.
For more extreme power levels and applications, we also offer a Motorsport Tensioner upgrade for this kit featuring increased load actuation.
