The PTP Gold Adhesive Thermal Barrier is a high-strength heat reflective foil made from lightweight aerospace material. The foil is 6 mm thick with a fire-resistant, pressure-sensitive adhesive that incorporates a fiberglass backing for strength and tear resistance.
PTP Gold Adhesive Thermal Barrier is a high strength sheet/tape where applications need to be shielded from radiant heat, even sharp and pointed edge components. A highly reflective film and silicone adhesive allow the PTP Gold Adhesive Thermal Barrier to reflect up to 750°F of radiant heat and has a continuous operating temperature of 500°F. Use it on firewalls, intake tube/manifold, engine covers, seats, and much more.
