A COMPLETE TIMING BELT REPLACEMENT SOLUTION
The IAG Red Racing Timing Belt Kit is designed as a replacement for the OEM Subaru EJ20 and EJ25 engines. Included in the kit are IAG Adjustable Idler Pulleys, IAG's high strength red racing timing belt, IAG billet timing belt guide, and an OEM timing belt tensioner.

The included components are designed for long life and high performance. These kits function as an exact replacement for the OEM timing belt found on the 2002-2014 Subaru WRX, 2004-2021 Subaru STI, 2005-2012 Legacy GT, and 2004-2013 Forester XT.

IAG ADJUSTABLE IDLER PULLEYS
The IAG Performance Adjustable Timing Idler kit is specifically intended to properly align the camshafts on Subaru EJ20/EJ25 cylinder heads and/or blocks that were resurfaced (“Reducing” long block length), or utilize thicker head gaskets (“Increasing” long block length). The ability to adjust and properly align the cams is recommended for any performance built Subaru.

The product is precision CNC machined and hand assembled in-house. Each idler features a machined 10mm hex enabling your socket to hold it in place while you adjust the timing to perfection. The idlers come engraved with the IAG logo on the face and are manufactured to strict OEM tolerances.

OEM TIMING BELT TENSIONER & PULLEYS
One of the most important components in the Subaru timing system is the timing belt tensioner. Aftermarket units are known to fail prematurely, which can cause catastrophic failure. The IAG Timing Belt Kit includes an OEM original equipment tensioner assembly direct from Fuji Heavy Industries (Subaru's parent company.)

The idler pulley included in the kit is also OEM quality. On Subarus it is more common to experience a timing idler bearing failure than it is to experience a failure of the timing belt iteself. You can rest assured that these high quality components will provide a long, trouble-free life.

IAG BILLET TIMING BELT GUIDE
The IAG Performance billet timing belt guide is the best method to prevent your EJ engine from skipping a beat. Engineered and manufactured in our facility in Westminster, MD, each guide is machined from a single piece of 6061 billet aluminum and then anodized black for a protective finish. The guide is a strong, rigid replacement for the OEM piece and is also adjustable to set the proper clearance for the timing belt. This adjustability is especially useful when switching to an aftermarket timing belt where belt thickness may vary. The edges of the guide feature a soft corner that prevents wear on the flat side of the belt.
