IAG’s Beehive Valve Spring And Titanium Retainer Set reduces valvetrain weight by up to 68 grams and delivers increased spring pressure, allowing you to run increased boost and RPM over stock. This valve spring and retainer set is engineered for compatibility with all Subaru EJ20 and EJ25 engines. The lightweight and durable design of this set make it the ideal upgrade for mild-aggressive street, road race and drag racing applications.

WHY UPGRADE?

Upgrading to titanium retainers offers significant performance advantages over steel options. Titanium retainers are much lighter, which increases efficiency and allows the engine to rev higher without losing control of the valvetrain. Our precision-machined titanium retainers are designed to evenly distribute the spring load across their entire surface, reducing the risk of failure at higher RPMs. Additionally, less weight on top of the valves contributes to more precise and stable valvetrain movement, ensuring optimal engine performance.

PRECISELY ENGINEERED WITH PREMIUM MATERIALS

Each IAG Beehive Valve Spring And Titanium Retainer Set includes 16 valve springs made from high-quality ovate chrome silicone alloy steel. Designed to withstand extreme shock loads and stress, our springs excel in high-RPM applications. Also included are 16 strong and lightweight titanium retainers that are precision-machined for optimal performance. Their reduced weight enhances efficiency and enables the engine to achieve higher RPMs. Best of all, our titanium retainers are machined and manufactured right here in our facility in the USA.

FITMENT AND OPERATION GUIDELINES

The IAG Beehive Valve Spring And Titanium Retainer Set is used in the IAG 950 cylinder head packages that are found in our 950 EJ25 long blocks, which are rated up to 950BHP. The spring set may be used for stock replacement or with Stage 1-3 camshafts utilized in mild-aggressive street, road race and drag racing applications. Please note that for safe operation, this spring set should not exceed 9000RPM.
