This is a brand new, completely assembled short-block directly from Subaru. This is the version out of the newest 2010 STI.
This is a great place to start if you are building a hybrid engine with your 2.0 liter heads on a 2.5 liter block. Or maybe you just need a replacement block for your STi. This comes with the block, crank, pistons, and rods completely assembled, and ready to bold your heads on.
Because this is a new part from Subaru, there is no core charge, and it comes fully assembled and ready for the cylinder heads to be installed.
No other parts are included with this short block, so items like cylinder heads, water pump, oil pump, oil pan, etc., would need to be ordered separately.
We also recommend purchasing a master gasket kit with this short block to make installation simpler.
